On November 12, Saturday, a video of Indian jawans dancing to the Bollywood song, Kala Chashma in the snow-capped Himalayas at – 5-degree temperature went viral.
In the 44 seconds video the jawans are seen dancing in a supposedly choreographed group on the song of the 2016 film ‘Baar Baar Dekho’.
The ‘Shershaah’ actor and the screen dancer of the Kala Chashma reel, Sidharth Malhotra tweeted the video saying, “Dancing in the line of danger #KalaChashma , Love n respect to my fellow jawans , So inspiring #JaiHind .”
Malhotra’s comment seems to have come from a deep sense of association with the Indian army. He portrayed the part of Kargil’s hero, Captain Vikram Batra, in the biopic, ‘Shershaah’. Sidharth also did intensive research for his part.
Vishal Batra, Vikram’s brother, in an earlier interview said, “Since Vikram is generally known as ‘Shershaah’, it was important for Sidharth to see the other side of Vikram’s life, as a student, as a soldier, as an Army officer, and definitely as a brother and a son.”
Now, whenever this video will emerge, however, we think of the Indian army soldiers as, always in a poignant light, but now they can be seen dancing happily.
Twitterati reacted to the video with ‘Wow’s. Some wrote, “The dance of army soldiers on snowy mountains inspires people to be happy in every situation.”
The video has more than 700 likes and retweeted more than 100 times. At the same time, Twitter users are constantly commenting on the video. Everyone is proud of the soldiers of the Army, who keep their courage in every situation and are always ready to serve the country.
‘Baar Baar Dekho’ is a very trending song, it is on top of Bollywood dance hits even today. The song is sung by Amar Arshi and has famous actors like Katrina Kaif and Sayani Gupta.
