These record-breaking numbers reflect the overwhelming anticipation surrounding the film and Kapoor’s magnetic appeal.

Despite clashing with two major releases—Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Vedaa—Stree 2 emerged as the clear box office winner. By the end of its third day in theatres, the film had collected an impressive ₹135.7 crore, further solidifying its place as one of the top-grossing films of the year.

Fans have flooded social media with praise for Kapoor’s performance, hailing her as a “box office queen.” Many have called Stree 2 a “paisa vasool” (worth every penny) experience, indicating that the film delivers on its promise of entertaining value.

Kapoor’s portrayal of her character in the sequel has added another hit to her already impressive track record, showcasing her ability to shine in a genre often dominated by male leads.

With the film’s global box office collection reaching ₹283 crore, Stree 2 has also garnered praise from Bollywood celebrities, including actress Bhumi Pednekar. Kapoor’s success with Stree 2 sets a high bar for future female-led projects in Indian cinema, proving that horror-comedy when done right, can captivate and entertain audiences on a massive scale.
