In a heart-wrenching turn of events, 16-year-old Sakshi from Delhi met a tragic fate at the hands of her relentless tormentor, Sahil Khan. The harrowing story of incessant harassment, stalking, and death threats was revealed as The New Indian spoke with Sakshi’s close friend, Bhawna, who had firsthand knowledge of the ordeal.

Bhavana recounted the nightmare that pushed Sakshi to the brink. “For almost a week he ruthlessly threatened her life, forcing her to comply with his twisted demands. In a desperate attempt to protect our friend, I confronted him just a day before the incident,” she disclosed.

“We pleaded with him to stay away from Sakshi, begging for her safety. Little did we know that the very next day, as we happily made our way to Neetu’s house to celebrate her daughter’s birthday, Sakshi excused herself to use the restroom. In reality it was an Instagram call from Sahil and she headed to meet him. Within minutes I received the devastating news that Sakshi had been brutally murdered on a nearby street,” she shared.

Meanwhile, Sahil was apprehended in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, and presented before a Delhi court on Tuesday. The court granted a two-day police custody for Sahil, allowing for thorough interrogation and necessary investigations to be conducted.

Authorities released CCTV footage capturing the horrifying act committed by Sahil in Shadab dairy in Northwest Delhi on Sunday. With chilling determination, he mercilessly stabbed the defenceless girl, targeting her chest, throat, and head until she lost consciousness. Showing no remorse, Sahil then savagely assaulted her head multiple times with a heavy cement brick before fleeing the scene.
