Delhi BJP leaders say the resignations of AAP heavyweights are a victory for truth and workers

The buoyant Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday, February 28, termed the resignations of key Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain, from the Delhi cabinet as a โ€œvictory of truth and party workersโ€.

Reacting to the resignations of Sisodiya and Jain, Delhi BJP working president Virendra Sachdeva said, โ€œThe BJPโ€™s struggle has borne fruits. We had been demanding the resignations of Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain. โ€œTheir resignations represent a victory for BJP workers, a victory for truth,โ€ Sachdeva said in a video message.

Sachdeva also targeted Delhi Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and said that he is the next. โ€œOur struggle demanding your resignation will continue. This fight is not over yet,โ€ the Delhi BJP working president said.

โ€œSatyameva Jayate. Truth wins,โ€ BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said. โ€œEverything will be clear in the 5-day remand,โ€ he added in a video message.

โ€œThe AAPโ€™s slumber has been broken following a strong reprimand by the Supreme Courtโ€ฆ Finally, Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain had to resign โ€ฆโ€ he tweeted.

Former AAP member and now BJP leader, Kapil Mishra termed it a victory for the people of Delhi. โ€œItโ€™s a big victory for the people of Delhi. Both corrupt ministers had to move out of the cabinetโ€ฆ And, the demand that we were pushing forth that both ministers be ousted from the Cabinetโ€ฆ Two corrupt men, Sisodia and Jain, have been removed from the Cabinet,โ€ he said.

โ€œManish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain are not the only two AAP leaders who have been caught as corrupt in (Delhi CM Arvind) Kejriwalโ€™s AAP. The first minister was Jitendar Singh Tomar, who was caught with a fake degree and then suspended. Kejriwal tried to defend him as well in the beginning. The people of Delhi remember this. The same goes for Sandeep Singh and Asim Ahmed Khan. Rajendar Pal Gautam was taken out of the party for abusing Hindu gods,โ€ Mishra pointed out.
