NEW DELHI: In a dramatic turn of events, a senior RSS leader’s article sharply criticized the BJP’s decision to ally with Ajit Pawar’s NCP in Maharashtra. This critique has strained their already tense relationship, with the article accusing the BJP of arrogance, leading to its failure to secure a significant majority.

On Thursday the article, published in Organiser, a publication close to the RSS, triggered a war of words between the BJP and its Maharashtra alliance, the NCP. This rift deepened as their rivals in the INDIA alliance secured more Lok Sabha seats in the state during the recent general election.

Reports suggest that the BJP is internally evaluating whether to contest the upcoming Assembly elections solo in Maharashtra. This move reflects the uncertainty and challenges within the coalition.

Meanwhile, RSS leader Indresh Kumar made headlines by openly criticizing the BJP’s performance in the general election, attributing their setback to arrogance. He indirectly labeled the INDIA alliance as “anti-Ram,” implying that their lack of faith in Lord Ram resulted in their limited success in the election.

RSS Leader Indresh Kumar’s remarks, made at an event near Jaipur, mark a significant departure as it’s the first time an RSS leader has publicly criticized the BJP. He pointedly stated that the BJP’s arrogance led to their failure, stopping them at 241 seats in the election.

This public critique highlights deeper tensions and ideological divisions within the political landscape. The BJP’s alliance strategies and internal dynamics are under scrutiny as they navigate these challenges ahead of the crucial Assembly elections.
