Rival Music maestros Anu Malik, Rahman make big appearance at Ambani wedding

NEW DELHI: The big fat wedding of Billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani with Radhika Merchant saw a unique picture of people with different ideologies coming to one place. From the music industry, Composers A.R. Rahman & Anu Malik graced the red carpet for the lagna vidhi of Anant & Radhika’s wedding.

AR Rahman and Mohit Chauhan, Jonita Gandhi, and Udit Narayan will also be performing at the couple’s reception on July 14, 2024. According to sources, the singers have prepared a special multi-artist set for the couple, promising a fitting conclusion to the lavish wedding ceremonies.

As the couple Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant tied the knot on July 12, the family is hosting the auspicious Shubh Vivah or wedding function. The dress code was Indian traditional. So many actresses including Ananya Pandey and Shanaya Kapoor attended the event wearing lehenga with ‘Anant’s Brigade’ written on the back of their blouse.

However, Dulha brigade members, Arjun Kapoor and Boney Kapoor are seen wearing a kurta with ‘Mere Yaar ki shaadi hai (It’s my friend’s wedding)’ written on it.

Not only actors and actresses from around the globe were seen but political leaders of different ideologies were also spotted at the wedding. INDI Alliance leaders including Akhilesh Yadav, Shiv Sena-UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray and NCP-SP leader Supriya Sule attended the event.

BJP party member Smriti Irani also graced the event in a red saree amid all the criticism of her defeat in the Lok Sabha elections she is facing. Other politicians who attended the wedding include West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav with his family and RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav with his family.

On July 13, the Ambani family celebrated Shubh Aashirwad and the dress code was Indian formal. July 14 will be the Mangal Utsav or the wedding reception and the dress code is Indian chic. All these functions will be held in BKC.
