The New Indian caught the pulse of the Gin Fest as enthusiasts from all corners of Delhi and the NCR region gathered at the venue. The air buzzed with excitement, and the festival’s vibrant atmosphere was palpable.
Gandharv, a Gurugram resident expressed, “This is the first time I am attending the Gin fest. I had heard a lot about it from social media and was excited to come here. The whole vibe of the place is amazing. I am looking forward to participating in the fest next year.”
Riddhi-Siddhi, two sisters from Delhi and corporate employees, praised the festival, saying, “The drinks are really good, and I like the fact that all the different brands have their separate stalls to choose from. The arrangement and music are also very good.”
Jaisalmer’s booth garnered the most footfall, with Simran Bhatnagar from Delhi sharing, “As soon as I entered the fest, I was searching for Jaisalmer. I literally had my fourth drink from Jaisalmer itself; it’s the best.” Jaisalmer Indian Craft Gin, produced by Radico Khaitan, draws inspiration from the royal heritage of Rajasthan, aiming to embody the essence of the state through its unique blend of local botanicals. Named after the historic city of Jaisalmer, situated at the gateway to the Thar Desert, this gin has become a notable player in the Indian craft gin scene.
Nikhil, comparing Jaisalmer with other Indian gins, exclaimed, “If we compare the other Indian gins out there in the market, Jaisalmer is literally the best.”
The venue at DLF Surface parking in Gurugram was well-equipped to handle the influx of enthusiastic visitors. A diverse selection of food stalls, mobile washroom stations, ensured convenience for attendees throughout the festival.
Vishesh Gupta, a first-time attendee, shared, “The crowd and the music are really good. The arrangement is also on point, with mobile washroom stations, food stalls, etc. Almost all the facilities one can ever ask for.” In addition to the gin bars featuring over 15 International and Homegrown gins, the festival grounds were dotted with life-sized installations and interactive zones, creating Instagram-worthy moments for attendees.
Shivansh, expressing his excitement, mentioned, “I am having my best time here. The only complaint that I have is that the fest ends at 10 at night; it could have stretched more. If it happens every day, I’ll come every day.”
The Retroverse Edition of Gin Explorers Club not only quenched the thirst of gin enthusiasts but also created an unforgettable experience, leaving attendees eagerly anticipating the next edition of this gin extravaganza.
