NAGPUR: During the RSS’s annual Vijayadashami event, renowned Bollywood singer and music composer, Shankar Mahadevan, reflected on the remarkable response he garnered as news of his participation began to circulate on WhatsApp.
He expressed, “As soon as this news started circulating on WhatsApp, I began receiving calls from people all over the world. The love and happiness of the people became evident. I really want to thank each and every person of the Sangh Parivaar, Swayam Sevak, for giving me this opportunity, from the bottom of my heart.”

Describing this experience as life-changing, Mahadevan acknowledged the profound impact of being invited as a chief guest for the Vijayadashami event, on his life. “Some moments, some occasions are life-changing and leave a huge impact on one’s journey on this planet. Today, this is definitely one for me,” he said.

The singer expressed his excitement at being present at the event, the atmosphere, said Mahadevan, “seems to inspire a deep sense of national pride within him.”
