Rekha Gupta outlined key issues to be discussed in upcoming cabinet meetings. Speaking to the media, she said, โ€œIn the cabinet meeting yesterday, we approved the Ayushman Bharat scheme, which was blocked by the AAP. The scheme will soon be in the public domainโ€ฆ Today, we have called the PWD and Jal Board officials for a meeting with the cabinet. We will take over the issue of potholes.โ€

Gupta has prioritized fixing Delhiโ€™s deteriorating roads, particularly potholes, which have become a major concern for commuters. The PWD will present a detailed plan outlining repairs and long-term maintenance strategies.

 

The government will also address the capitalโ€™s water supply challenges.

 

Since taking charge, the new administration has moved quickly on key issues. In its first cabinet meeting, Guptaโ€™s government approved the implementation of the Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme, which the previous administration had stalled. This decision aims to provide affordable healthcare to Delhi residents.
