New Delhi: The Red Bull M.E.O. BGMI Series Tournament 2024 concluded on December 8 with an action-packed Grand Finale in Chennai. After three intense days of competition, Vasista Esports emerged as the champion, led by Pukar. The team secured a total of 153 points and bagged two Chicken Dinners, marking a dominant performance throughout the event.
In a close battle for the top spot, Orangutan Gaming, led by Aaru, finished as the runner-up with 147 points and one Chicken Dinner. Despite a strong start, the team faced challenges on the second day but managed a remarkable comeback on the final day.
Team Soul, led by Manya, claimed third place with 145 points and two Chicken Dinners. Although they narrowly missed the top spot, their resilience and impressive performance in the final rounds earned them a well-deserved place on the podium.

The tournament brought together 16 of the best BGMI teams in the country, all competing for glory. Unlike traditional tournaments, the Red Bull M.E.O. BGMI Series did not have a cash prize pool. Instead, winners and top participants were awarded unique experiences and opportunities. Vasista Esports, for instance, earned a Red Bull Racing experience, with the chance to attend a Formula 1 event. The WCC champions were also rewarded with an exclusive matchday experience with the IPL team Rajasthan Royals.
Player reactions highlighted the emotional and competitive nature of the tournament. Pukar of Vasista Esports shared, “It feels incredible to win this title. The team’s hard work and dedication paid off, and I’m proud of everyone’s performance.” Aaru of Orangutan Gaming remarked, “We gave it our all, and finishing as runners-up is a great achievement. We’ll come back stronger next time.” Manya of Team Soul said, “Third place is a testament to our resilience. We’ll keep pushing and aim for the top spot in future tournaments.”
Analysts praised the teams for their performances. One caster noted, “Vasista Esports showed exceptional consistency throughout the tournament. Pukar’s leadership was key to their success.” Another caster commented, “Orangutan Gaming had a strong start but stumbled a bit on the second day. They made a commendable comeback on the final day.” An analyst added, “Team Soul’s performance on the third day was outstanding. They narrowly missed the top spot but delivered an impressive show.”
