Summary

BJP MP Ravi Kishan, confident in the BJP’s victory, urged voters to support Shikha Rai and praised Modi’s leadership. He criticized AAP’s governance and its reliance on freebies.

NEW DELHI: The New Indian’s photojournalist Ritik Sharma exclusively covers Ravi Kishan’s campaign for Shikha Rai, featuring quotes not reported by any other media house.

Confident in the BJP’s success in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, Kishan proclaimed, “Modi ji will triumph, and Shikha didi is already ahead.
Should I present her with the victory garland now?”

Campaigning at Triveni Complex Market in Sheikh Sarai, Kishan urged voters to support BJP candidate Shikha Rai. He criticized the current state of affairs in Delhi, calling it “a living hell.” He pointed to the lack of clean water, poor living conditions, and pollution, stating, “One can’t even breathe here. Is this a life worth living?”

Praise for Modi and Criticism of AAP

Kishan praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and developmental work, contrasting it with the Aam Aadmi Party’s governance. “Modi ji’s guarantee is a full guarantee; it will happen, unlike AAP’s false promises,” he asserted.

Comparing Gorakhpur’s progress under BJP rule to Delhi’s current state, he said, “With Modi ji and Yogi ji’s blessings, we have transformed Gorakhpur with projects worth ₹40,000 crore. Life there is like heaven. But here in Delhi, people drink dirty water filled with worms, sewer water!”

Call to Vote for BJP

Emphasizing Modi’s vision, Kishan asked, “Modi ji has transformed the country, yet you hesitate to bring him into Delhi? It’s been 27 years won’t you give him a chance? Won’t you let the Lotus bloom? Won’t you support Shikha Rai?”

Confident of the BJP’s victory, he predicted, “In the Greater Kailash Assembly seat, Shikha Rai will defeat Saurabh Bharadwaj. The AAP government made people perform Chhath Puja in the polluted Yamuna. Remove such liars from power.”

Taking a jibe at AAP, Kishan chanted, “Jhaadu wale ja rahe hain, Modi ji aa rahe hain” (The broom is leaving, Modi ji is coming). He also sang a Bhojpuri song, mocking Arvind Kejriwal for allegedly living in a ₹52-crore Sheesh Mahal while “the public suffers like beggars.”

Sharp Criticism of AAP’s Freebies

Kishan criticized AAP’s liquor policy, claiming it had led migrant workers from Bihar to alcoholism. “They came to Delhi to earn a living, but now they’re drinking because of free bottle offers. Rise up, don’t fall for such freebie politics!”

Urging Greater Kailash residents to choose wisely, he cautioned, “Don’t fall for false promises, or you’ll be left with polluted water, toxic air, and lasting regret.”

Taking a parting shot at AAP, he quipped, “The opposition gets fits when they hear ‘Jai Shree Ram’ and ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai!’”
Ending his speech with religious fervor, he chanted, “Namah Parvati Pataye, Har Har Mahadev!”
