NEW DELHI: Rashtrapati Bhavan has issued a formal clarification following recent comments made by prominent Congress party leaders regarding the Hon’ble President’s Address to the Parliament.

The President, according to the statement, found speaking on issues that directly impact marginalized communities, women, and farmers, to be a crucial and energizing task.
The President’s office further clarified that the comments made by the Congress leaders might stem from a misunderstanding of the linguistic and cultural nuances of Indian languages, particularly Hindi.
The statement, issued by Ajay Kumar Singh, the Press Secretary to the President, noted that the leaders’ comments were not only inaccurate but also disrespectful to the dignity of the high office.
“Such comments are in poor taste, unfortunate, and entirely avoidable,” the press release added.
The President’s Address to the Parliament, delivered with focus on social justice and empowerment, has been widely regarded as a landmark speech reflecting the government’s ongoing commitment to key social issues.
However, the contentious remarks from opposition leaders have sparked a political debate regarding the tone and reception of the speech.
Rashtrapati Bhavan’s swift response is seen as a defense of the institution’s stature and the President’s personal integrity.
As the political discourse continues to unfold, the President’s office has reiterated its commitment to raising crucial social issues without any hindrance or distraction.
The clarification serves as a reminder of the importance of maintaining the respect and dignity of the office of the President, irrespective of political affiliations.
