NEW DELHI: Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh meets Maldives Defence Minister Mohamed Ghassan Maumoon in New Delhi on January 8, 2025, to strengthen bilateral defence and security cooperation. Both leaders reaffirm their commitment to advancing the India-Maldives Comprehensive Economic and Maritime Security Partnership, focusing on regional stability and mutual growth.

During the discussions, Rajnath Singh emphasizes India’s readiness to support the Maldives in enhancing its defence capabilities.
