Mayor of Jaipur Municipal Corporation Heritage, Munesh Gurjar celebrated her birthday by serving cows at Hingonia Gaushala along with ward councillors.
The mayor said on her birthday that she had taken a pledge not to accept any kind of garland until the state is free of lumpy disease that is affecting its cattle population.
On this occasion, the mayor and ward councillors inspected the Hingonia cow rehabilitation centre. They gave ₹2.40L worth of medicine to the gaushala for the treatment of cows suffering from a lumpy virus.
Mayor and councillors fed ayurvedic medicinal laddoos and jaggery to cows suffering from the lumpy disease. Antibiotic, multi-vitamin, anti-allergic, life-saving medicine along with antiseptic cream, bandage, cotton and surgical gloves etc. were distributed in the medicine kit.
The gaushala trust representative was directed by Gurjar and the councillors to clean the cowshed and feed the cows regularly. The Mayor and the councillors gave the message of a clean environment by planting saplings on the gaushala premises.
