The kidnapper responsible for this heinous act, identified as Setu Verma, 22 years old, was swiftly apprehended by the railway unit within a remarkable 24-hour timeframe.
Verma confessed to his nefarious intentions during interrogation, revealing his plan to sell the children for monetary gain. The heartening resolution to this harrowing ordeal was made possible due to the dedicated efforts of railway police personnel, led by Inspector Sharat Bishnoi, SHO of Sabzi Mandi Railway Station, whose adherence to conventional policing strategies, coupled with technological advancements, facilitated the prompt detection and rescue operation.
