New Delhi: Indian badminton champion PV Sindhu is all set to marry Venkata Datta Sai, an entrepreneur based in Hyderabad, on December 22, 2024, in a lavish wedding ceremony in Udaipur. The pre-wedding celebrations will begin two days earlier, on December 20, and a grand reception will follow in Hyderabad on December 24.
Sindhu’s father, PV Ramana, shared that the two families have known each other for a long time, but the marriage was only confirmed about a month ago. He said, “The two families have had a long-standing relationship, but the wedding was finalized only recently. This was the only window that worked for us, as Sindhu’s schedule will be packed with training and competitions starting in January.” The wedding date was carefully chosen to allow Sindhu to take some time off before resuming her rigorous training in preparation for the upcoming season.

Venkata Datta Sai is a well-established name in the business world, serving as the Executive Director at Posidex Technologies and the Managing Director of Sour Apple Asset Management. He holds a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Flame University and a Master’s degree in Data Science and Machine Learning from IIIT Bengaluru.
Datta Sai began his career with JSW, where he gained valuable experience as a summer intern and later managed the company’s IPL team, the Delhi Capitals. Reflecting on his professional journey, he shared, “My BBA in finance and economics pales in comparison to managing an IPL team, but I must admit, both experiences taught me a lot.” Since 2019, he has been leading innovative projects at Posidex Technologies, including creating solutions to revolutionize banking operations, such as instant credit score matching and loan approvals.
The marriage is not only a personal milestone for Sindhu but also a celebration of the long-standing bond between the two families.
