NEW DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday carried out searches at 30 locations in Jammu and Kashmir and Karnataka in the PSI recruitment case.
A CBI source said that the agency sleuths carried out searches at several premises linked to the accused in the case in Jammu, Srinagar and Bengaluru.
The source said that the agency registered a case against 33 people after irregularities were found in the recruitment of police sub-inspectors for the J&K exam in March.
The CBI has named Karnail Singh of BSF, who is a medical officer, Avinash Gupta, owner of tutorial Classes, and Narayan Dutt of Merit Trax Private Limited based in Bengaluru which conducted exams.
