NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Gujarat on October 28, 2024, to inaugurate key projects and strengthen ties in the defense sector. He will be joined by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez for the joint inauguration of the TATA Aircraft Complex in Vadodara, marking a significant milestone in India’s military aviation capabilities.

The TATA Aircraft Complex will be the first private sector Final Assembly Line (FAL) for military aircraft in India. This facility is part of a larger C-295 aircraft program, which includes the delivery of 56 aircraft, with 16 being supplied directly by Airbus from Spain. The remaining 40 aircraft will be manufactured in India by Tata Advanced Systems Ltd., creating a comprehensive ecosystem for manufacturing, assembly, testing, and maintenance.
