SRINAGAR: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is set to visit Jammu and Kashmir on the 20th and 21st of June 2024. His visit will mark the inauguration and foundation laying of 84 major developmental projects worth over Rs. 1,500 crore.
Additionally, he will launch the Competitiveness Improvement in Agriculture and Allied Sectors (JKCIP) Project, valued at Rs. 1,800 crore.
On 20th June, PM Modi will attend the ‘Empowering Youth, Transforming J&K’ event at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) in Srinagar. The Prime Minister will inspect stalls and interact with young achievers from J&K.

Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone laying of multiple development projects, including road infrastructure, water supply schemes, and higher education facilities.
The projects include the improvement of the Chenani-Patnitop-Nashri Section, the development of industrial estates, and the construction of six government degree colleges. Prime Minister will also distribute appointment letters to over 2,000 newly appointed government employees.

On 21st June, Prime Minister Modi will lead the 10th International Day of Yoga celebrations at SKICC, Srinagar. The theme for this year’s event is “Yoga for Self and Society,” emphasizing yoga’s role in promoting individual and societal well-being. The Prime Minister will address the gathering and participate in the CYP Yoga session.
Since its inception in 2015, Prime Minister Modi has led International Day of Yoga celebrations at various iconic locations, including Kartavya Path in Delhi, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Ranchi, Lucknow, Mysuru, and the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
