NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted a luncheon meeting in Delhi for Chief Ministers of National Democratic Alliance (NDA)-ruled states, focusing on governance strategies and electoral preparations.

Hours later, Delhiโs newly appointed Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, along with her cabinet, Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva, and BJP election in-charge Baijayant Panda, visited Vasudev Ghat. They performed an โAartiโ before launching a Yamuna cleanup drive, marking the beginning of their commitment to restoring the river.
PM Modiโs Meeting with NDA CMs
PM Modi invited all NDA state Chief Ministers to the Imperial Hotel in Delhi, where they discussed policy coordination, governance, and upcoming electoral strategies.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda, and Chief Ministers from BJP and allied parties, including Haryanaโs Nayab Singh Saini, Madhya Pradeshโs Mohan Yadav, Rajasthanโs Bhajanlal Sharma, Maharashtraโs Devendra Fadnavis, and Andhra Pradeshโs N. Chandrababu Naidu attended the meeting.
However, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar remained absent.

After the high-profile NDA meeting, CM Rekha Gupta convened her first cabinet session. Later, she, along with BJP election in-charge Baijayant Panda and her ministers, visited Vasudev Ghat to perform โYamuna Aartiโ before launching a river cleanup drive.
