SRINAGAR/SONAMARG: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, speaking at the inauguration of the Z-Morh Tunnel, highlighted the transformative changes underway in the region under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.   Paying homage to those who lost their lives in a terrorist attack last year near the site, Sinha remarked, “I bow to the seven innocent individuals who were tragically killed here. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. Today, Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing unprecedented progress, and this is possible because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s unwavering focus on the region.”     Sinha pointed out the remarkable shift in the narrative surrounding Jammu and Kashmir. “The focus has moved away from violence to progress. Conversations are no longer about terrorism but about tourism, which is a testament to the positive changes taking root here,” he stated.   Calling the Z-Morh Tunnel a “transformative project,” the Lieutenant Governor underscored its potential to revolutionize connectivity. “This tunnel ensures year-round access to Sonamarg, unlocking vast opportunities for winter tourism.
