NEW DELHI: Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, entrepreneur, designer, and star of Fabulous Lives vs. Bollywood Wives, recently had a heartwarming moment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As part of the Kapoor family, Riddhima joined her brother Ranbir Kapoor, mother Neetu Kapoor, sister-in-law Alia Bhatt, cousins Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor, along with Saif Ali Khan, to meet the PM and discuss the upcoming Raj Kapoor Film Festival.
Taking to Instagram, Riddhima shared several photos from the memorable meeting, revealing a moment where she sought the Prime Minister’s blessings with folded hands. She captioned the images with a heartfelt note reflecting on the encounter.

“They say manifest, and it happens. When honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji took the oath for the first time in 2014, I had wished to meet him purely owing to his dynamism and charisma,” Riddhima wrote. “Ten years later, I had the privilege and sheer honor of meeting him as a representative of my family to celebrate my grandfather Shri Raj Kapoor ji.”
The meeting also saw Riddhima presenting a special gift to PM Modi. Accompanying her was her husband, businessman Bharat Sahni, who joined the group for a photograph with the Prime Minister.
Riddhima continued in her post, “As the world gears up to celebrate my grandfather’s 100th birth anniversary, our hearts are filled with gratitude for the Almighty and for our Prime Minister, who made time and shared his love for my grandfather.” She concluded with, “#100YearsOfRajKapoor.”

The Kapoor family is set to commemorate Raj Kapoor’s centenary with a grand Raj Kapoor Film Festival. Scheduled from December 13–15, the festival will showcase ten of the legendary filmmaker’s most iconic movies, including Aag (1948), Barsaat (1949), Awara (1951), Shree 420 (1955), Jagte Raho (1956), Jis Desh Mein Ganga Behti Hai (1960), Sangam (1964), Mera Naam Joker (1970), Bobby (1973), and Ram Teri Ganga Maili (1985).
The event, spanning 40 cities and 135 theaters, is a tribute to Raj Kapoor’s timeless contribution to Indian cinema. The Kapoor family expressed their gratitude to PM Modi for his support and for honoring their iconic grandfather’s legacy.
