JAMMU: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) spokesperson Mohit Bhan has strongly condemned a viral video showing Bollywood socialite Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, and his friends allegedly drinking near the sacred Mata Vaishno Devi shrine.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Bhan expressed outrage, stating, “Mata Vaishno Devi, a revered pilgrimage site, is NOT a party destination. This Bollywood Joker #Orry & friends drinking there is a direct insult to Hindu faith.”

Tagging Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, the J&K Police, BJP leader Sunil Sharma, and the Union Home Ministry, Bhan urged authorities to take strict action against the hotel where the incident reportedly took place. “I urge J&K Govt, CM @OmarAbdullah, and @JmuKmrPolice to take action against the hotel for this disgrace to Maa Vaishno Devi,”he wrote.

The video, which was originally shared on Instagram, has sparked outrage, with many calling for accountability over the alleged violation of the sanctity of the revered pilgrimage site. The J&K administration is yet to respond to the demand for action.
