Pakistani journo to hold party for Ram Mandir consecration ceremony

NEW DELHI : Senior Pakistani journalist Arzoo Kazmi has enthusiastically joined the worldwide celebrations for the grand inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Kazmi, known for her bold views on various topics,has announced plans to host a grand party on January 22,in honour of the historic occasion.

Expressing her deep connection to her Hindu roots,Kazmi has gone a step further by adopting two Hindu families as a gesture of solidarity.

Her family’s migration from India to Pakistan during the Partition in 1947 adds a personal dimension to her involvement in the festivities. Kazmi, who attended Trinity Methodist High School in Karachi, pursued her education in journalism at Punjab University, earning both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in the field.

The idol of Ram Lalla is scheduled to be placed in the sanctum sanctorum on January 18, with the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony culminating in the grand inauguration on January 22.

 Remarkably, Kazmi highlighted that the majority of Pakistanis are showing support for the Ram Mandir inauguration, emphasising the nation’s desire to maintain peaceful relations with India, particularly during chaos along the Afghanistan border.

She noted that neither the Pakistani government nor politicians are making any comments to avoid escalating tensions at this delicate moment.
