Now, Yogi Adityanath Temple With His Statue Holding Bow, Arrow Like Ram

Now, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has a temple named after him. It has a life-sized statue of Yogi, holding a bow and an arrow, just like Lord Shri Ram.

The ‘Shri Yogi Mandir’ has been built by a Yogi fan, Prabhakar Maurya, tucked away in Maurya Ka Purva village near Bharat Kund on Prayagraj Highway, 25 km from Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya city.

Maurya installed the statue of Yogi in the temple. The worship rituals began on Sunday.

Maurya told The New Indian, “I have built a temple for the one who has built the temple of Shri Ram in Ayodhya.”

The temple’s construction started the day the foundation of Ram Janmabhoomi temple was laid and completed in August this year, he added.

Prayers have been composed on the Yogi, which will be offered every morning and evening in the temple.

Maurya is a YouTube video creator by profession. He is also a big aficionado of Yogi Adityanath and has sung many songs in his support during the last Uttar Pradesh elections.

Maurya told The New Indian that it was his resolution to build a grand and divine temple of Yogi Adityanath, also a priest in the Gorakhnath Temple in his turf Gorakhpur, near Lord Shri Ram’s birthplace.

The news of Yogi Adityanath’s temple having come up spread like wildfire in the nearby villages, and people are thronging to have a look at it.

A temple has been built in the name of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Rajkot in Gujarat and another in Meerut in Uttar Pradesh.

Congress lawmakers built a temple for Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and installed an actual statue of her in Karimnagar, Telangana in 2015.

The late superstar-turned Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M G Ramachandran has had a shrine dedicated to him in Nathamedu village in Thiruninravur district of Tamil Nadu since 2011.
