NEW DELHI: In a recent development, the Noida Police has transferred the case related to YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav’s alleged involvement in snake venom and an illegal rave party from the Sector 49 Police Station to the Sector 20 Police Station. The decision came on the orders of the Noida Police Commissioner.

This information was exclusively reported by The New Indian, making it the first news outlet to bring this update to the public’s attention.

As of now, the suspected snake venom recovered in the case has not been sent to any laboratory for testing. It is currently under scrutiny, and there is a likelihood that it will be forwarded to a laboratory based in Lucknow for a comprehensive examination.

Authorities aim to ascertain whether the seized venom possesses psychotropic properties capable of inducing effects similar to party drugs in the human body.

Additionally, a new Investigation Official (IO) has been dispatched from the Sector 20 Police Station to the Sector 49 Police Station to investigate the matter further. Following a thorough examination of the case details, the future course of action will be determined.

The incident in question was set into motion when an FIR was registered against the YouTuber in Noida. He is accused of involvement in the distribution of snake venom at rave parties within the Noida-NCR region.

The complaint was lodged by Gaurav Gupta, an Animal Welfare Officer associated with the People For Animal (PFA) organisation, which is affiliated with BJP’s Maneka Gandhi.

The New Indian also obtained access to the conversation between Gupta and snake charmer Rahul, who is one of the accused in the case and is currently in police custody along with four others.
