The raids were launched following cases related to the illegal entry of Pakistani terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir. Officials confirmed that searches are underway at nine locations in the division, with more details yet to emerge.

These operations come just a week after the NIA attached the property of Adil Manzoor Langoo, an accused in the murder of two non-locals in February. The agency recovered weapons and ammunition from Langoo’s 10 Marla property in Zaldagar, Srinagar, which was confiscated under Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), 1967.
Langoo, allegedly associated with ‘The Resistance Front (TRF)’—a Lashkar-e-Taiba offshoot—was apprehended on February 12. A charge sheet was filed against him and others in August. Langoo remains in custody at Srinagar Central Jail as investigations continue.
