NEW DELHI: On Friday, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy arrived in the new Parliament in a gleaming Mercedes SUV (GLE 250d: TS12ED0009), two days after he took oath as the state head in Hyderabad and coinciding with the recovery of cash by a party colleague and MP in Odisha.
IT raids were conducted in Odisha and Jharkhand at locations associated with Congress’ Jharkhand Rajya Sabha MP Dheeraj Sahu, revealing a sum exceeding Rs 250 crore in cash on Friday. Despite earlier assurances of transparency to the public, the newly minted Chief Minister refrained from making any comments during the winter session of Parliament.
When asked by Rohan Dua, the Executive Editor of The New Indian, about his thoughts on visiting the Parliament for the first time after being sworn in as the Chief Minister of Telangana, Reddy swiftly entered his luxurious car, evidently eager to avoid answering the questions.

His demeanour revealed his eagerness to luxuriate in his vehicle and depart from the Parliament premises promptly, avoiding the scrutiny of the media. Meanwhile, the Income Tax department has confiscated around Rs 200 crore from Boudh Distillery Private Limited in Odisha, with the counting process still underway according to sources. These funds are associated with Congress MP Sahu, exposing another instance of corruption charges against the Grand Old Party.
