NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has published the list of test cities for the NEET PG Exam 2024. Candidates scheduled to take the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for postgraduate courses can access the list on the official NBEMS website at natboard.edu.in.
According to the official notice, due to additional security measures implemented by NBEMS and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), the NEET PG 2024 examination will now be held in 185 test cities across India. The previously communicated test cities and centres listed on the admit cards for the NEET-PG 2024, originally scheduled for June 23, 2024, are no longer valid.
Candidates who received admit cards for NEET-PG 2024 must select their preferred test city again through an online window. They will need to select four preferred test cities where they wish to take the exam. These cities must be chosen from the available list within the state of the correspondence address provided in the candidate’s NEET-PG 2024 application form.
This selection window will be available on the NBEMS website from July 19 to July 22, 2024, and can be accessed using their login credentials. The updated test city allotment list will be emailed to candidates on July 29, 2024. The specific test centre venue within the allocated test city will be indicated on the admit card, which will be released on August 8, 2024, on the NBEMS website.
The test city will be randomly assigned from the choices made by the candidate. The order in which these four cities are chosen will not be considered as a priority ranking. It is possible that a test centre may not be available in any of the four preferred test cities due to reasons such as overcapacity, logistical issues, administrative constraints, or security concerns.
However, candidates will not have the option to choose the shift (Morning or Afternoon) for their examination. The examination timings for both shifts will be announced in due course.Additionally, the board confirmed that the cut-off date for completing internships to be eligible for NEET-PG 2024 remains August 15, 2024. For more information, candidates can visit the official NBEMS website.
