New Delhi: The National Commission for Women (NCW) has taken serious note of the derogatory and racist comments made by popular YouTubers during a recent episode of the show *Indiaโs Got Latent.
The Commission has summoned content creators Ranveer Allahabadia, Samay Raina, Apoorva Makhija, Jaspreet Singh, and Ashish Chanchlani, along with the showโs producers, Tushar Poojari and Saurabh Bothra, to appear for a hearing on 17th February 2025.
The controversial remarks, which have sparked widespread public outrage, were deemed vulgar and offensive, violating the dignity and respect owed to individuals in a society that values equality and mutual respect. The NCW, under the leadership of Chairperson Smt. Vijaya Rahatkar, has expressed strong concern over the incident and emphasized the need to address such behavior.
The hearing is scheduled to take place at 12 pm at the NCW office in New Delhi.
