New Delhi: The Special Cell of the Delhi Police has uncovered that Nadeem Ram Ali, who was recently arrested for allegedly posting inflammatory content on X (formerly Twitter), had been in contact with several Pakistani citizens.

Ali was apprehended for allegedly posting messages on X that incited people to opt for civil war in India. Speaking to The New Indian, DCP Hemant Tiwari confirmed that Ali was arrested due to his hate-filled posts against the country.

Despite the seriousness of the charges, Ali was later granted bail by the court.

Ali is known to have an active account on X and is reportedly close to several top politicians in the country. His arrest followed the viral circulation of a compilation of five to six tweets, which indicated his intent to provoke a civil war in India. These posts led to numerous complaints being filed with the Special Cell.

The complaint against Ali stated, “Ali’s messages provoked people to wage war against the Indian Government. He suggested that people should divide themselves into separate camps to fight. His intention seems clear: to increase hatred, enmity, and ill-will among the people of our nation.”

Sources within the Special Cell have suggested that Ali was allegedly trying to create unrest in the country. The investigation is ongoing.
