N Chandrabau Naidu takes oath in a star-studded ceremony

NEW DELHI: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader N Chandrababu Naidu, has taken oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for the fourth time on Wednesday, June 12. The event was held near Medha IT Park, opposite Gannavaram Airport in Kesarapalli, on the outskirts of Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh. The grand oath-taking ceremony was attended by many prominent political and entertainment industry figures. 

Prominent political figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Ministers like Amit Shah, Rammohan Naidu, Nitin Gadkari, J P Nadda and Chirag Paswan attended the event reflecting their support.

Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde, former Telangana governor Tamilisai Soundarajan, Andhra governor S Abdul Nazeer,and Naidu’s wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari were also present to witness the formation of new government.

The newly formed 25-member Council of Ministers includes a diverse group of leaders from the Jana Sena Party, BJP, and TDP. From the Jana Sena Party, Pawan Kalyan, Nadendla Manohar, and Kandula Durgesh will join. Satya Kumar Yadav is there from BJP while from the TDP, 20 members, including 17 new faces and several seasoned politicians, have joined the council.

His cabinet also includes three women ministers, senior leader N. Mohammed Farook as the only Muslim minister, eight ministers from Backward Classes, three from Scheduled Castes, and one from Scheduled Tribes.

Different communities are also represented in the cabinet having four ministers each from the Kamma and Kapu communities, three from the Reddy community, and one from the Vysya community.

The South Indian film industry, underscoring the personal connections and influence of Pawan Kalyan in the entertainment world was also a key attraction in the ceremony. Several celebrities who attended the ceremony included actor Allu Arjun, Rajinikanth, Allu Sirish, and Chiranjeevi, who came to show their support and friendship with Pawan Kalyan.
