NEW DELHI: Munawar Faruqui emerged victorious as the winner of ‘Bigg Boss 17’, clinching the coveted title after spending over 100 days in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house. The stand-up comedian triumphed over fellow finalist, actor Abhishek Kumar, in the grand finale. Taking to Instagram, Munawar shared his first post-win photo, capturing the moment with host Salman Khan and the gleaming trophy.
In the black-and-white snapshot, Munawar beamed alongside Salman, who sported a casual look, creating a memorable image of their victory. Expressing gratitude, Munawar thanked his fans for their unwavering love and support, acknowledging the guidance of Salman Khan with a special mention.
He wrote, “Bohot Bohot shukriya janta aapke pyaar aur support ke liye aakhir kar trophy Dongri aa hi gayi (thank you my fans for all the love and support. Finally the trophy is here). Adding to the jubilation, Munawar celebrated his win on his birthday, making the victory even more special. Speaking to Times Now, he stated, “Isse badiya birthday nahi ho sakta (it couldn’t have been better).”
Munawar’s journey in the ‘Bigg Boss 17’ house showcased his strength as a contestant, initially gaining attention for his poetic expressions. However, challenges arose when his ex-girlfriend Ayesha Khan entered the house, levelling various allegations against him.
