NEW DELHI – The 10th India International Trade Fair and MSME Expo, held from August 22 to August 24 at Pragati Maidan, provided a significant platform for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to showcase their ‘Make in India’ products. The event highlighted the innovation and entrepreneurial spirit of Indian businesses, contributing to the national vision of self-reliance.

Vinod Rajpal, Founder of Shubham Lifts Private Limited, a Delhi-based company, expressed his pride in contributing to the ‘Make in India’ initiative. “Our elevators are predominantly Made in India, with 60% of the components manufactured domestically and 40% imported from European countries. This expo has given us a great opportunity to showcase our products, which we hope will drive increased sales,” Rajpal said in a conversation with The New Indian.

The expo also featured a wide range of handmade products. Among them, Artylogs, a Delhi-based enterprise, drew attention with its unique home decor and beauty products crafted from ceramic powder. Upma Bassi, a representative of Artylogs, shared her optimism about the expo’s potential impact. “We are a small team of 7-8 people, and we believe that this MSME expo will significantly boost our sales,” Bassi said.
