MPs display brotherhood, thrash Lok Sabha intruder black and blue | watch

Lok Sabha MPs huddled up to beat the intruder up

NEW DELHI: On the occasion of the 22nd Anniversary of the Parliament Attacks, the new parliament complex witnessed another shocking security breach amid its hallowed walls. However, following the breach, all Lok Sabha MPs, in a rare display of brotherhood, convened to thrash the intruder black and blue.

The two intruders who had invaded the lower house have been identified as Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D. According to reports, both of them are university students from Mysore Vivekananda University in Bengaluru.

In the video that has presently surfaced, one of the youths was caught on camera being thrashed by MPs from both the Treasury and the Opposition benches. It can be seen in the video itself that all the parliamentarians were having a blast while thrashing the intruder up, with one of the MPs, grabbing a significant lock of his hair, making the person immobile.

Through the course of the video, it can be seen that all of the MPs took a go at beating the person up. One MP slapped the intruder over and over, another could be seen jumping over multiple tables to reach the crowd which had huddled up around him. All of this happened while at least three MPs held on to both the hands of the intruders, while another clinched at the intruder’s jacket.

Apart from the two intruders, another two were apprehended from outside the Parliament’s premises.

Both Sharma and Manoranjan had barged into the halls of the Temple of Democracy to protest with coloured smoke sticks and gas canisters. Following this, the Delhi Police confirmed that the smoke emitted was not poisonous and had been used just to protest.

Lok Sabha Speaker, Om Birla, also took to the assembly to assure the parliamentarians that the smoke was completely non-lethal.

Former Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Lok Sabha MP, Danish Ali, accused Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Pratap Simha proving the intruders with the visitor’s pass.
