NEW DELHI: A special CBI court on Monday sentenced five people to seven years of rigorous imprisonment in the Vyapam case of Madhya Pradesh.
Indore’s Special Judge, CBI (Vyapam cases) has sentenced candidate Satyapal Kustwar, candidate Ravindra Dulawat, paper solvers Shailendra Kumar and Ashish Uttam, and middleman Sanjay Dulawat to seven years in jail in connection with MPPMT-2008 examination.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had registered the case in December 2015 on orders of the Supreme Court. The case was originally registered at Sanyogitaganj police station in Indore against the accused in 2009.
