NEW DELHI: In a serene display of devotion and spirituality, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, accompanied by his wife Sadhna Singh, graced the ongoing religious ceremonies at the Karuna Dham Ashram in Bhopal on Sunday.

The CM embarked on a spiritual journey, joining the auspicious Shatchandi Yajna, which commenced on December 4 at the Karuna Dham Ashram. The Yajna, a sacred Hindu ritual involving offerings and prayers, culminated in a profound ceremony attended by the revered Karunadham Peethadheeshwar Gurudev Sudhesh Shandilya Maharaj.

During his visit, Chouhan sought blessings from Gurudev Sudhesh Shandilya Maharaj, embracing the sanctity of the occasion. He paid homage to the Yajna Vedi with humble bowing down to the Lord, encircled the sacred space, paid homage at the temple, and took part in receiving the blessed Prasad.

Expressing his gratitude and sharing the spiritual experience, Chief Minister Chouhan took to social media, tweeting about his blessed visit and worship at the Mahalakshmi Temple within Karuna Dham in Bhopal. He extended heartfelt prayers for the continual blessings of Mahalakshmi Devi upon the entire populace of the state, wishing for perpetual happiness, prosperity, and well-being.

On social media site X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, “”Today, I had the privilege of visiting and worshipping at the Mahalakshmi Temple in Karuna Dham, Bhopal. May the blessings of Goddess Mahalakshmi shower endlessly upon all the residents of the state, bringing happiness, prosperity, and well-being from every direction. This is my heartfelt wish. All hail Mother Lakshmi.”

The Chief Minister’s participation in these spiritual ceremonies not only reflects his devotion but also underscores the cultural and spiritual significance of such sacred rituals in fostering unity and spirituality among the citizens.
