Moosewala Murder Case: Autopsy Report Reveals 19 Bullet Injuries, Death Due To Hemorrhagic Shock

CHANDIGARH: The post mortem report of Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moosewala has revealed that he received 19 bullet injuries in his body. The report also revealed that Moosewala died due to hemorrhagic shock which is due to antemortem firearm injuries.

The post mortem of Moosewala, who was killed on May 29 in Punjab’s Mansa district, was conducted by a team of five doctors.

In the post mortem report, exclusively accessed by The New Indian, which was conducted on May 30 panel of five doctors concluded that his cause of death was, “Haemorrhagic shock which is due to antemortem firearm injuries described and sufficient to cause death in the ordinary course of nature.”

It further states that Moosewala’s body bore maximum bullet injury marks on his right side.

The report also stated that the bullets had hit his kidneys, liver, lungs, and spine, and he probably died “within 15 minutes” of being wounded.

The report further stated that on examination of external injuries, it found punctured laceration present on the lower aspect of the left knee in middle margins are inverted blackening present, abrasion collar present.

It also said that the injury punctured laceration was present on the lower and medial aspects of the left knee.

It also stated that bones are fractured in multiple places.

The report said that a spindle-shaped punctured lacerated wound was present on the anterior of the abdomen above the level of the umbilicus.

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann met Sidhu Moosewala’s family in their native village in the Mansa district.

 

The report also highlighted a punctured lacerated wound on the posterior lateral aspect of the chest right side obliquely placed.

“On dissection perforation is going anterior and medial underlying ribs are fractured, muscles and tissues found to be cavities. The right lobe of a liver is severely lacerated,” it said.

Unidentified gunmen had ambushed Moose Wala in Jawarharke village in Mansa and opened fire at the SUV he was travelling in. At least three weapons, including a Russian AN-94 assault rifle, were used in the attack.

Minutes after the killing of Moosewala in Punjab, a Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar took the responsibility. Brar took to his social media account to claim the responsibility, writing that “he and Bishnoi group was behind the murder”.

“Today, Moosewala was killed in Punjab, I, Sachin Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi take the responsibility. It’s our work. Moosewala’s name surfaced in our brother Vikramjit Singh Middukhera and Gurlal Brar’s murder, but the Punjab Police did not take any action against him. We also came to know that Moosewala was also involved in the encounter of our associate Ankit Bhadu. Moosewala was working against us. Delhi Police had taken his name but Moosewala used his political power and saved his skin each time,” Goldy wrote in his post on Facebook.
