NEW DELHI: At the FICCI Young Leaders Forum’s exclusive Roundtable Discussion on “Scripting Your Success Path – FY 2026,” entrepreneur Vasuki Punj delivered a powerful address on redefining success in the service sector.
Sharing insights on setting bold goals, overcoming challenges, and leading with purpose, Punj emphasized the evolving nature of success in a dynamic world.
Her pragmatic perspective on success resonated with attendees. “Success is tangible—it’s more than just money; it’s about happiness, stability, and freedom,” she stated.

Punj, a former legal professional, is the Founder & CEO of FrozenFun, a premium gelato brand expanding across India. Her transition from law to entrepreneurship is marked by an impressive global career, including experience at the United Nations and Human Rights Watch. She also represented India at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant in São Paulo, Brazil.
With a background in sovereign arbitration, where she represented various governments in international disputes, Punj’s definition of success extends beyond financial gains to tangible impact and personal fulfillment. Addressing the economic shifts in the post-COVID era, she noted its role as a game changer for the service sector.
Punj elaborated on how success varies across professions. “Everyone’s in search of happiness, right? It is the most elusive thing in our lives. But I actually believe a lot of professional success is also tangible… For most businesses, yes, it’s profit and loss. But there are many professions where people provide a service that isn’t necessarily tied to money,” she remarked.

She further shared her views on financial success, stating, “If money can’t buy happiness, I’d rather cry in a Ferrari than on the street.” However, she also acknowledged the personal pursuit of happiness beyond professional achievements.
Having spent the past 13 years traveling extensively, rarely staying in a city for more than two weeks, Punj highlighted how success is an evolving concept.
For her, it is about the luxury of choice—the ability to carve one’s own path rather than being confined by circumstances.
Her insights encouraged young leaders to embrace adaptability and resilience as essential elements of success as they gear up for FY 2025-26. The session also highlighted perspectives from young women leaders on driving growth and innovation in an ever-changing business landscape.
