NEW DELHI: Jacqueline Fernandez has established her presence in Bollywood through her roles in numerous box office hits, including ‘Kick,’ ‘Race 2,’ and ‘Race 3,’ among others. She recently sparked excitement among fans by sharing a photo alongside Hollywood actor Jean-Claude Van Damme. Nonetheless, what caught everyone’s attention was singer Mika Singh’s comment on her post, leading to Sukesh Chandrashekhar filing a legal notice against him.

Last week, Jacqueline Fernandez took to her social media accounts to post a photo alongside Hollywood action icon Jean-Claude Van Damme. The joint post was accompanied by the caption, “Having fun in Italy Take a guess #vacation #fashion #fun.” Singer Mika Singh reshared the same post on his account and wrote, “You are looking so beautiful.., he is much better than #sukesh.” However, he later removed his comment.

According to The Times of India, Sukesh has issued a legal notice to the singer in response to his remarks. The notice, dispatched by his attorney Anant Malik, expressed: “Your statement has triggered extensive public discourse about our client’s character and personality, subjecting him to a de facto trial by media.

This situation is exacerbating his existing distress and poses significant challenges due to relentless media scrutiny. You are, therefore, put to notice that by your derogatory comment, you have committed serious criminal offence of defamation, and are therefore liable to be prosecuted, inter-alia, under the provisions of Sections 499/500 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.”

On the work front, Jacqueline last appeared in Rohit Shetty’s 2022 comedy film ‘Cirkus,’ where she starred alongside Ranveer Singh and Pooja Hegde. Unfortunately, the movie received poor reviews and performed below expectations at the box office. Currently, she is gearing up for a project titled ‘Fateh’ alongside Sonu Sood. Additionally, she is also part of the cast of the comedy film “Welcome to the Jungle,” which includes actors like Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon, and Disha Patani, among others. This film is scheduled for release in theatres next year.
