Melania Trump discussed her return to the White House, her upcoming projects, and reflections on her time as First Lady.
NEW DELHI: In a recent interview, Melania Trump discussed her return to the White House, her upcoming projects, and reflections on her time as First Lady. “It’s incredible, and we are very, very busy,” Melania shared about adjusting to life after President Trump’s return. With the transition underway, she is working on establishing her transition team, organizing her office, and preparing their residence. “Life is the pace of it,” she said, highlighting the logistical challenges of moving back into the historic home.
Melania noted that, unlike her first time in the White House, this return is smoother. “We already know where we are going and we have all of the plans from before,” she explained, contrasting the current process with the initial transition in 2017, which had been challenging due to limited access before January 20. “This time it’s already in the process,” she added, expressing familiarity with the demands of her role.

Her tenure as First Lady included impactful initiatives such as her “Be Best” campaign, which she successfully expanded globally. Melania took pride in the positive influence it had and continued her philanthropic work post-White House. “I established my web two and web three platforms, where I design collectibles like ornaments each season,” she revealed. The proceeds from these items help support foster students, a cause close to her heart. “I’m very proud of them, and their lives change because they will have an education.”
Addressing the evolving dynamics in the Trump family, Melania praised her son, Barron, for his growth. “He’s a grown young man. I’m very proud of him, about his knowledge, even about politics and giving advice to his father,” she said. Despite the challenges of being in the public eye, including Secret Service protection as a college student, Melania noted his resilience. “He’s very strong and he knows that he’s in a different position than other children.”
Reflecting on President Trump’s demeanor, she shared, “He just seems calm, serene, accomplished, not cocky.” She also touched on her desire for unity in the nation and expressed hope that rhetoric would be tempered. “I’m always against violence. Nothing is accomplished with violence,” she stated, emphasizing her commitment to peace.
