Bharatiya Janata Party’s West Bengal co-in-charge Amit Malviya

NEW DELHI: Reacting to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar’s report that Bengal Minister Partha Chatterjee requires no hospitalisation, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s West Bengal co-in-charge Amit Malviya said that Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has institutionalised depravity and corruption.

“AIIMS, Bhubaneswar’s report on arrested TMC minister Partha Chaterjee raises several questions on doctors and management of Bengal government-run SSKM, which has been used by TMC leaders in the past to evade the law. Mamata Banerjee has institutionalised depravity and corruption in Bengal,” Malviya told The New Indian.

Banerjee is also the health minister of Bengal.

He further said, “Partha Chatterjee was admitted to the ICU department of the hospital when he didn’t need any hospitalisation at all. The same facility was used by Anubrata Mondal, another close aide of Mamata, for months, when thousands of ailing patients don’t even get a bed and die.”
