MUMBAI: A day after Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Mumbai Zonal Unit Director Sameer Wankhede met agency’s chief SN Pradhan in Delhi amid the payoff row, Maharashtra Minister and senior Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik on Wednesday again upped his ante against the officer and shared his alleged first marriage certificate.

This comes a day after Malik released the birth certificate of Wankhede.

Addressing media here, Malik said, “Today I have shared a sweet picture of the marriage dated December 7, 2006 of a sweet couple on my Twitter account. The marriage took place at Lokhandwala marriage hall and also has the names of the girls parents. Their names have been kept blank as they are also receiving threats.”

He said, “Till yesterday, who were questioning the birth certificate shared by me. The birth certificates of all people are in the records on the Municipal Corporation website. However, Wankhede’s certificate was not found there. So after searching the records for over one and half months, we got the scanned copy of the birth certificate. And these copies are true. And if one views it carefully then it is genuine. And what we have circled in the red is the place tampering has been done.”

As per the country’s law and constitution says that if someone converts to another religion then he cannot get the benefit of being a Scheduled Caste especially in the case of Muslim and Christians. If people think that this is wrong then the Prime Minister can change the law

He said that through the fake certificates a forgery was done to get a government job.

Malik in the last few days has leveled several serious allegations against Wankhede, who has been in the news after the arrest of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan on October 3 after a raid on Goa-bound luxury cruise ship.

Besides Aryan Khan, seven others were also arrested on October 3. The NCB has arrested 20 people in connection with the drugs case. Aryan Khan has been sent to judicial custody till October 30 by a Special NDPS court. The bail hearing of Aryan Khan will continue in the Bombay High Court today.

Even the NCB has ordered a vigilance inquiry against Wankhede. A five member team of the NCB has arrived in Mumbai to question Wankhede on the allegations leveled against him by the NCP leader.
