NEW DELHI : As Donald Trump prepared to assume office as the 47th President of the United States, prominent Indian entrepreneurs marked their presence at the grand inauguration in Washington, D.C. Among them was Pankaj Bansal, CEO of M3M Developers.
Also attending was Kalpesh Mehta, founder of Tribeca Developers and an authorized Indian associate for Trump Towers projects. Both Bansal and Mehta play a pivotal role in shaping Trump Towers in India, underscoring the deep-rooted collaboration between Indian corporate leaders and the Trump Organization.
As an official Indian representative for Trump Towers, Mehta has been instrumental in introducing the Trump brand to the Indian market.
Bansal expressed his enthusiasm upon reaching Washington, D.C., just before the oath-taking event. Sharing his excitement on the social media platform X, he wrote, “Elated to be here with close friends and family on this significant occasion.
Congratulations to President Trump—you hold a special place in our hearts.” His post also featured images alongside President-elect Trump.
Tribeca, helmed by Mehta, has maintained a longstanding alliance with the Trump Organization in India for over 13 years.
Mehta is known to have a strong rapport with the Trump family, having been an alumnus of the prestigious Wharton School alongside Donald Trump Jr. Both Bansal and Mehta were part of an exclusive gathering of associates and global Trump partners attending the event.
M3M, in association with Tribeca, is spearheading the development of Delhi-NCR’s first Trump Towers, set for completion by 2025. Tribeca operates as a co-developer, collaborating with regional real estate firms on Trump Tower projects.
At present, India hosts four Trump Tower residences in Mumbai, Pune, Gurugram, and Kolkata, spanning approximately 3.5 million square feet. The Gurugram and Kolkata developments are projected to be finalized by 2025.
Ahead of the swearing-in, an exclusive gala dinner brought together global influencers and dignitaries. On Monday, Trump will officially take the presidential oath at the U.S. Capitol, alongside Vice President JD Vance.
The inauguration festivities commenced on January 18 with a private gathering for close friends and family at Trump National Golf Course in Virginia. Today’s schedule included a celebratory rally followed by an elite candlelight dinner.
The grand ceremonies will culminate on January 20 with the formal oath-taking event, followed by the prestigious inaugural ball.
