Lucky Lakshmi Festival launches with 10 crore prize pool

NEW DELHI –  The All India Gem & Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC) has announced the launch of the much-awaited Lucky Lakshmi Festival, running from October 22nd to December 9th, 2024. With a theme of “Ab Chamkegi Sabki Kismat” this year’s festival promises an enhanced shopping experience, drawing on insights from previous editions to engage consumers and boost the jewellery market.

 

The revamped festival will be held across multiple key venues in Delhi, providing jewellers with a platform to connect directly with customers. Showcasing a blend of modern elegance and traditional craftsmanship, the event aims to captivate visitors with a range of innovative jewellery designs.

Speaking at a press conference in Delhi on the festival’s launch, GJC Chairman Saiyam Mehra expressed his excitement and said, “This year’s Lucky Lakshmi Festival comes with new features and insights from previous events, making it more engaging and rewarding for both jewellers and customers. We are eager to see the positive impact it will bring to the Delhi jewellery market and beyond.”

Joint Convenor Manoj Jha added, “This festival symbolizes unity and success within the jewellery industry, providing a common platform for jewellers of all sizes. We are confident it will delight customers and help participating businesses thrive.”

 

“For every purchase of Rs 25,000 worth of jewellery, customers will receive a coupon. The coupons will have assured gifts, including and if someone purchases worth Rs. 1 Lakh then they will get a Gold Coin,” said Manoj Jha.

“We sold almost 25 Lakhs coupons last time and this time we are guessing for 35lakh coupon sold,” he added.
