Lucknow: Knockout Matches For 34th Sub-Junior Under-13 National Badminton Championship Begin

The 34th sub-junior under-13 national badminton championship takes off at Babu Banarasi Das U.P. Badminton Academy on November 19, Saturday.

Deputy Chief Minister Uttar Pradesh Brajesh Pathak inaugurated the event at 10am. More than 300 players from various parts of India are said to participate in the matches.

The matches of the 5-day long tournament will be held on knockout basis. The chairman of the organising committee is Viraj Sagar Das, president is Navneet Sehgal, and secretary is Sudharma Singh. Punjab National Bank, Amul and Indian Oil Corporation have come on board as sponsors.
