NEW DELHI: CBSE Class 10th exam results 2023 have been announced on its official website, the Central Board of Secondary Education announced on Friday. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access their results on the official websites i.e. cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in.
The pass percentage stands at 93.12 per cent, showing a slight decrease of 1.28 per cent compared to last year. As in the case of Class 12th results, girls have outshined boys securing a lead of 1.98 per cent.
Among the regions, Trivandrum has secured the top position with an outstanding pass percentage of 99.91 per cent, followed closely by Bengaluru at 99.18 per cent and Chennai at 99.14 per cent. Ajmer and Pune also achieved commendable results with pass percentages of 97.27 per cent and 96.92 per cent, respectively.
The board will not release the merit list to avoid fostering unhealthy competition among students.
Lakhs of students appeared for the CBSE Class 10 2023 exams, which were conducted amid strict Covid-19 protocols. The results were delayed due to the pandemic situation in the country.
To check the CBSE Results 2023, students can follow these steps:
- Visit the official websites results.cbse.nic.in or cbse.gov.in.
- Select the result tab for CBSE Class X (Class 10) Results 2023 or CBSE Class XII (Class 12) Results 2023.
- A new window will open where candidates need to enter their Roll Number, School Number, Date of Birth, and Admit Card ID.
- Submit the required details online.
- The CBSE exam results for 2023 will then appear on the screen.
Candidates can also check their results on DigiLocker and UMANG app. CBSE has advised all students to regularly visit the official website for the latest updates regarding the result declaration.
However, it is worth noting that last year, the CBSE Class X results were announced on July 22, 2022, along with the Class XII results.
In addition to the official websites, students can also access their results through platforms like DigiLocker and the UMANG app, providing them with alternative options to check their scores.
As the clock ticks closer to the result announcement, students are advised to keep their credentials handy and stay updated with the latest information from the official CBSE channels.
Earlier today, the board released the much-anticipated results of the Class 12 examinations, revealing a remarkable achievement by female students, who have outperformed their male counterparts. However, the overall pass percentage has experienced a decline of 5.38% compared to the previous year, causing concerns among students and education experts.
