NEW DELHI: Karan Johar’s renowned talk show, “Koffee With Karan,” has consistently been a source of controversy over the years. In the most recent episode of Season 8, celebrity guests Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday discussed the persistent rumours surrounding a romantic involvement between Sara Tendulkar, the daughter of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, and renowned star cricketer Shubman Gill.

During the show, Karan Johar broached the topic of “alleged rumours” regarding Sara’s relationship with Shubman Gill. Reacting to his question, Sara, swiftly responded, “You have got the wrong Sara, guys. Sara ka sara duniya galat Sara ke piche pada hai (The world is chasing the wrong Sara).”

On a different note, Ananya Panday, who made her debut with “Student of the Year 2,” seemed to hint at a romantic connection with actor Aditya Roy Kapur. When asked about her “aashiqui” (love), she cryptically stated, “Ashiqui aise hi hoti hai (Love is like that only)… What?! Stop talking!”

Further stoking the speculation, when Karan inquired about what Ananya had that Sara didn’t, Sara jokingly pointed to the web series “The Night Manager,” in which Aditya Roy Kapur plays a lead role. Karan playfully asked Ananya how she was “managing her nights,” offering a nod to the well-known rumour of Ananya’s relationship with Kapoor. Adding to the intrigue, there were recent suspicions that the two had celebrated Ananya’s birthday together in the Maldives.

During their latest appearance on KWK, Ananya wore black, while Sara Ali Khan donned red. The host, Karan, kicked off the conversation with a playful reference to their common “ex-boyfriends.”

Sara humorously responded, “Oh, that’s a very good start to the show,” while Ananya quipped, “Let’s address the Liger in the room.” Sara interjected with a “No, no, no, no,” playfully alluding to Ananya’s “Liger” co-star Vijay Deverakonda, who had appeared alongside Ananya in a previous episode of “Koffee With Karan” last year.

The episode of “Koffee With Karan” Season 8 featuring Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday undoubtedly left viewers speculating about the hidden intricacies of their personal lives and relationships.
