Kochi to host Kerala’s largest medical tech, innovation expo

The expo promises to showcase cutting-edge innovations and the latest advancements in medical equipment and hospital essentials.

KOCHI: The eagerly awaited second installment of the ‘Hospex Health Care Expo 2023,’ the largest medical technology and innovation event in the state, is set to take place from September 15 to 17.

The event will take place at Zamra International Convention and Exhibition Centre at Kalamassery in Kochi.

With its theme “Future of Healthcare: Digital, Devices, and Diagnostics,” the expo is poised to illuminate the path forward for the state’s medical sector. It promises to showcase cutting-edge innovations and the latest advancements in medical equipment and hospital essentials.

Dr. John Sebastian Nivin, the managing director and former president of IMA, said, “Hospex 2023 provides an exceptional platform for introducing diagnostic and surgical medical technologies, products, and innovations to the entire medical community. This comprehensive event brings together hospitals, Original Equipment Manufacturers, startups, suppliers, and stakeholders from the medical industry under one roof.”

Exhibitors will seize the opportunity to elevate their profiles, enhance brand visibility, cultivate new leads, and engage with suppliers capable of fostering business growth.

Organized by Trithvam Integris in collaboration with the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologist, AIMED, and other medical associations, partners, and incubation centers, the Expo enjoys financial support from the Department of MSME. Up to 80% of exhibitor stall expenses are reimbursed following the guidelines.

“Hospex Expo finds its roots in Kerala, a state that has emerged as a frontrunner in healthcare performance, boasting advanced facilities, skilled medical practitioners, and cost-effective treatments. The potential for medical and innovative technologies to thrive in the state’s healthcare sector is tremendous,” noted Dr. John Sebastian Nivin.
Attendees of the event encompass policy makers from central and state governments, members of scientific committees, officials from medical research organizations, heads and top officials representing medical device companies, health insurance firms, healthcare tourism industry stakeholders, health tech companies, pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies, and directors of renowned hospitals.

An array of workshops and interactive scientific sessions spanning three days forms another highlight of the expo. These include smart hospital & smart diagnostic conferences, fever conclave & AMR workshop, digital marketing workshop for hospitals & clinics, procurement and biomedical purchase workshop, medgate south India healthcare conclave, start-up and MSME sessions, and discussions on digital health.

A dedicated B2B lounge will facilitate connections between companies, innovators, potential buyers, and early adopters across the medical industry in south India.
