NEW DELHI: New Zealand secured a five-wicket win over Pakistan in the second T20I at Dunedin on Tuesday. With this win, they now lead the five-match series 2-0.
Kiwi skipper Michael Bracewell praised his bowlers for their performance. He highlighted that bowling into the wind was challenging.
“Very good bowling performance,” said Bracewell. “We bowled well into the wind. The wicket had extra bounce as it was under covers. Our death bowlers performed well. We were happy at the halfway mark.”

Tough Conditions for Bowlers
Bracewell explained the tricky conditions. “It was tough bowling into the wind. We tried to hit into the wind. We have been playing good cricket. The guys are striking the ball well. Bowlers are hitting the right lines. It was pretty cold, but hopefully, we entertained the crowd,” he added.
Player of the Match Tim Seifert also shared his thoughts. He admitted the wicket looked tricky after the first over.
“Was great fun,” Seifert said. “The wicket seemed difficult after the first over. Not much talk happened. We just backed our skills. Playing for your country is a dream. You share the field with the world’s best.”
He recalled feeling nervous after dropping two catches in the first T20I. “I was nervous on the field after those dropped catches,” Seifert added.
